The Advocates - Part II

Continued...This then led to further public gigs at Destination Anywhere, Swindon's popular soul music venue, the Corn Exchange (Newbury) and the 2000 Valentines Ball at Newbury Racecourse. From these gigs, they earned excellent reviews from local press and radio receiving comments like "now that is how live music should be played" and "the tightest live band I've seen in a very long time" from event organisers and audiences alike

In addition to their many public appearances the Advocates play regularly for private audiences and corporate events. The band is also continually developing its performance, and now boasts a dedicated sound and lighting crew, which makes for an event that is both visually and musically exciting.

Being "one of the best live bands around" (Peasemore Summer Ball 2002), the Advocates continue to perform in the South of England with gigs coming up in Newbury, Bristol and Reading, as well as being in huge demand for corporate Christmas events.

In between live commitments, the band has produced two CDs being as comfortable in the recording studio as they are live on stage. With more to come.....
